Fast and accurate text classification via multiple linear discriminant projections

Summary: SIMPL uses multiple Fisher linear-discriminant projections followed by a decision tree for scalable text classification. Sequential scans and sorts yield near-linear training with NB-like resource use, substantially higher accuracy than NB and SVM-comparable accuracy at orders-of-magnitude lower runtime.
