Semi-Automatic Index Tuning: Keeping DBAs in the Loop
Summary: Introduces online semi-automatic index tuning that keeps DBAs in the loop: recommendations adapt to implicit/explicit preference feedback while analyzing the live workload. Uses the Work Function Algorithm for broad online optimization with competitive guarantees. (summarized by gpt-5.6-luna on Jul 24 2026)
