Automatic SQL Tuning in Oracle 10g

Summary: Automatic SQL Tuning in Oracle 10g embeds self-tuning in the optimizer via SQL profiling to improve plans. It delivers cost-based access-path and what-if analyses via GUI/CLI for automated, workload-driven tuning, outperforming manual tuning. (summarized by gpt-5-nano on Feb 09 2026)
