Lessons from a "Living In a Database" Graphical Query Interface

Summary: Bitmap-terminal, mouse-driven graphical ER interface for LID, diverging from PDB-style presentations. Dynamic graphics that track data changes are promising but hard to implement; LID exposes an inadequacy: set-based data operations, and proposes an extension.
