An Object-Oriented Approach to Multimedia Databases

Summary: Object-oriented model for multimedia databases, extending instantiation/generalization with aggregation and media relations. Aggregation hierarchies unite text, audio, images, and graphics; links enable voice notes and refs, with operable semantics. (summarized by gpt-5-nano on Feb 09 2026)
