A Taxonomy of Time in Databases

Summary: Proposes a three-time taxonomy for temporal data in databases, clarifying terminology beyond single-attribute time models. Introduces a clean, pictorial model and classifies DBMS by temporal capability, arguing all three times should be supported to capture time-varying behavior.
