Object-Oriented Database Support for Software Environments
Summary: Cactus is an object-oriented, multi-user DBMS for software environments, focusing on efficient handling of functionally-defined data in Unix/C. It uses attributed-graph dependency management, supports extensible type hierarchies, and provides rollback and versioning for evolving software data. (summarized by gpt-5-nano on Feb 09 2026)
