Boosting OLTP Performance with Per-Page Logging on NVDIMM

Summary: Per-page redo logs on NVDIMM absorb DRAM writes, reducing durability overhead for OLTP on flash. NV-PPL yields ≥6.9x throughput vs MySQL and up to 1.5x vs NV-SQL; enables redo-less recovery and redo-based MV, cutting recovery time by 33% and speeding long HTAP workloads 3x–18x.
